While we have yet to leave the first month of the new year, it seems we’ve already got a look at a large chunk of 2023s releases from Nike and Jordan Brand with rumors around the Holiday 2023 season beginning to emerge. Already we’ve seen discussion of the next “Reimagined” AJ 1, two colorways of the AJ 11 (one being the return of the DMP and another being a women’s pair inspired by Neapolitan ice cream), and claims the Air Jordan 3 “Fear” is making a come back. Well, another pair may is set to retro, though this time from Nike Sportswear, the Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 Triple Black will return in OG form for October 2023.
Last seen in 2020, the silhouette likely will remain identical to the OG pair with its leather and nubuck construction across the upper. Black shades cover the entire silhouette with perforations appearing on the overlays that connect to the eyestays and branding details sharing this stealthy shade. These are found atop the tongue with a circular “Air Max 2” logo, Nike text embroidered on the midfoot, and “Nike Air” text on the heel. Underfoot sits a black CB ‘94 midsole with an exposed Air bubble in the heel paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 Triple Black will release October 5th, 2023, through the Nike SNKRS app. An overseas release will follow on November 13. A full stateside drop is set for December 12 at Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
