The Nike Air Max 90 has stood the test of time while staying relevant through many different trends since its inception in 1990. There's a pair for everyone, from OG colorways like Infrared and Eggplant to newer iterations like University Gold and Barely Rose. Fresh for Summer 2024 is an all-new kids' version of the Air Max 90, sporting a gradient wedge.
The Nike Air Max 90 NN Gradient Wedge Pure Platinum is part of the Next Nature series and comes in a clean, greyscale-like colorway. Pure Platinum dresses the mesh underlays and tumbled leather overlays. This color also extends onto the plastic eyestays and back heel tab.
The grey-dominated theme is contrasted by white accents on the laces, side Nike Swoosh, tongue tag, heel badge, and lining, adding variety to the design. Black hits are found via the branding throughout, which can be seen on the mini Swoosh on the toe, Air Max branding on the heel badge, Nike Air branding on the tongue tag and back heel, and the Nike Sustainability logo on the insoles. The star of the show is the gradient wedge on the midsole, which fades from yellow to red, giving off sunset vibes. Visible Max Air cushioning in the heel and a solid rubber Nike Re-Grind outsole complete the Next Nature AM 90 look.
The Nike Air Max 90 NN Gradient Wedge Pure Platinum GS is set to release in Summer 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in gradeschool sizing, the retail price is set at $100. Stay tuned to the Sole Retriever mobile app for the latest updates on this release and more from the sneaker and streetwear world.
