Soccer season is officially upon us! With the 2022 FIFA World Cup coming up just around the corner, Nike is now going all-out with the national team-inspired sneakers. For its latest release, the Beaverton-based sportswear giant has headed to the home of football with the Nike Air Max 95 "3 Lions." Getting its name from England's national football team, they will be one of the very first groups to be playing when the World Cup kicks off in Qatar on November 20th. If you want a pair in your rotation this season, make sure you read on to find out everything that you need to know.
Taking on the Sergio Lozano-designed silhouette, the Air Max 95 has been an English essential since the mid-'90s. Worn mostly by roadmen, the chunky sneaker boasts a white mesh and leather construction with a single stripe across the sidewalls that fades into blue, nodding to the soccer team's signature color scheme. A "3 Lions" tag can be found stitched on the laterals, and this logo also makes its way to the insole in a blocky font. Underfoot, the Air midsole is done up in an all-white hue with striking teal accents across the bubbles that make these more eye-catching than ever.
Set to arrive just days before the FIFA World Cup, the Nike Air Max 95 3 Lions White is scheduled to release on November 14th, 2022 in men's sizes for $190. Expected to be available via Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers worldwide, let us know what you think of this colorway, and while you're here, make sure you keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
