Even though the Air Max 95 is over a quarter of a century old, it still manages to stop us in our tracks every single time we see it. Designed by Sergio Lozano back in 1995, the anatomically-inspired silhouette has pretty much remained the same over the past two decades, and honestly, we're not too surprised. As the old saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." right? If for whatever reason you still don't have a pair in your daily rotation, then you should stop what you're doing and check out the Nike Air Max 95 "Black Earth" right now. One of the best AM95s that we've seen in a very long time, these have been made just for you.
Giving us a militaristic aesthetic, this Air Max 95 is painted in a sequoia, cargo khaki, medium olive, and neutral olive color palette that's sure to turn heads wherever you go. Boasting a multi-material construction, the sidewalls are decked out in mesh, leather, and plenty of suede to speak of. Even more suede adorns the toebox for a premium look and feel, and in case you haven't spotted it already, the tongue boasts a unique woven texture that we don't often see on sneakers. Earth-toned eyelets make their way throughout the lacing system, and this is complemented by a brown Swoosh that's finely embroidered around the back. All of this then sits on top of an extra chunky black Max Air midsole complete with visible bubbles for that retro design that we can't help but adore.
The Nike Air Max 95 Black Earth is set to release in Spring 2023 in men's sizes with a retail price of $190. Expected to launch at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide, this is an AM95 that you definitely don't want to miss, so follow Sole Retriever on Twitter and download our officialMobile App for your best chance to cop!
