The Air Max 95 is another Nike Air Max family member that has received an outpouring of love over the years. Recently revealed plans for a women’s “Alabaster” colorway feature loads of safari print on the mudguards. Next, Nike decides to go completely differently with this "Disco Purple" model.
Traditional color blocking appears on this Nike Air Max 95. A cascade of greys goes from dark to light on the layered leather mudguard overlays. Purple fills the small Swoosh placed on the lateral ankle, while a dark grey overlay protects the toe. Pristine white mesh is placed right above this, covering the beginnings of the funky purple lace loops. The lace loops creep over a black textile overlay while holding the white laces in place. An Air Max 95 oval logo in grey and purple is accented with white seen beneath it on the tongue.
Meanwhile, a Nike Air logo appears on the reflective heel counter. The darkest shade of grey on the model coats the midsole, with purple peeking through the Max Air units underneath the heel. A dark grey and purple pattern decorates the outsole, rounding out this purple-tinted variation.
The Nike Air Max 95 Disco Purple W is set to release this Fall through Nike and select retailers, online and in-store. Releasing in women’s sizing, the retail price will be $175.
