2025 will mark the 30th Anniversary of the Air Max 95, and Nike has plenty of plans for the sneaker next year, from a Nike SB collab to the revival of the OG Big Bubble variant in the Neon colorway. Before the start of next year, The Swoosh will be giving the SNKRS App an exclusive colorway of the Air Max 95 that takes on a theme of natural erosion.
Taking on a split upper, the sneaker's lateral side features lavender and lilac hues, while the medial side takes on tones of brown and tan. Sergio Lozano’s human anatomy-inspired design comes coated in these color palettes, with a gradient-like effect as each panel comes in a different shade. White is on the netting above the side panels, on the lace loops, lace set, and tongue portions, while the mudguard comes in a deep brown shade. Inside, the sneaker comes with Nike, Air Max, and SNKRS branding, alongside the explanation of the sneaker’s theme, the “Nike Air Max 95 as if unearthed by the process of erosion.” This same phrase is placed on the packaging lid, and the heel tab has a topographical-inspired graphic pattern. Underfoot sits a brown foam midsole with blue Air units visible near the forefoot and heel paired with a tonal rubber outsole and PSI labeling underneath.
The Nike Air Max 95 OG Erosion has no confirmed release date, but it is expected to drop on the Nike SNKRS App by the end of 2024. It’s also possible that the pair will be exclusive to the EU, as Nike often gives the region exclusive sneakers to celebrate the SNKRS App. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
