From its shoutouts in songs from The Game to the recent Corteiz takeover, the Air Max 95 has held a place in the sneaker world well past its debut in 1995. Although the OG design still receives new renditions, The Swoosh is also bringing forth a new “Ultra” iteration, a version that slims the model’s panels and tweaks its construction slightly, in “Black Red Grey.”
Keeping things stealthy throughout, black shades dominate the model’s mesh, leather, nylon, and foam construction with accenting picante red and neutral grey. Along the sneaker's profile sits the bone-like overlays covered by a foam material in black, sans the lone neutral grey stripe in its center. Separating this from the mesh portion of the upper is a zig-zag stitching pattern that follows the black color palette. Our only hits of picante red on the upper come in the form of the Air Max branding atop the tongue and the Nike Air text on the heel. Underfoot, a black midsole features exposed Air units in the forefoot and heel. Rounding everything out is the black outsole.
The Nike Air Max 95 Ultra Black Red Grey will release this fallthrough Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
