With a legacy that stretches back to 1998, the Air Max Plus series has been pioneer of Nike's Air technology, featuring a then-groundbreaking Tuned Air system to offer superior stability and support. For the latest colorway of its third iteration, the Air Max Plus 3, The Swoosh has applied a clean “Black Volt” treatment.
Retaining its standard construction, we see a mixture of mesh, suede, and TPU across the low-top design. Black shades take over most of the upper, with volt green hits present on the midfoot's mini embroidered Swoosh, tongue's Air Max Plus branding, and Tuned Air text on the heel. TPU overlays grace the heel and portions of the mesh upper while adding stability. Underfoot sits a Tuned Air-cushioned midsole in black paired with a black and volt green outsole.
The Nike Air Max Plus 3 Black Volt will release this fall through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. The shoes will be available in men’s sizing, and the retail price is set at $195.
