When it comes to sneakers inspired by Brazil, Nike is certainly no stranger to them. From the Air Jordan 6 to the Dunk Low SP, the South American country has acted as the muse for multiple releases over the years, and 2023 is no different as we take our first look at the Nike Air Max Plus "Brazil." Celebrating the Sean McDowell-designed silhouette's 25th birthday, if you want a pair in your collection then keep on reading to find out everything that we know so far, including potential release details, pricing information, and so much more.
From a distance, this Air Max Plus might look like just another white-on-white colorway, but upon closer inspection you'll find that there's way more than meets the eye. Working on top of a breathable mesh base, smooth leather wraps around the entirety of the upper for that classic '90s aesthetic that we all know and love. A glossy plastic piece embraces the toe area for extra protection, and you can't talk about this shoe without mentioning the palm tree-inspired cage that takes over the entire upper in a blue, green, and yellow gradient that pays homage to the Latin American country. This effect extends towards the chunky TN Air midsole, which is equipped with a series of exposed bubbles for extra comfort and cushioning with every step.
The Nike Air Max Plus Brazil W is set to release sometime in 2023 exclusively in women's sizes for $175. Expected to drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select online and in-store retailers, make sure you keep it locked on Sole Retriever's Twitter and Mobile App for your best chance to cop!
