Cult classic Air Max sneakers have been making comebacks over the last year as Nike has dug into its archives and revived multiple models. The Air Max TL 2.5, which, like the Air Max Sunder, returned in collaboration with CDG before inline colorways hit shelves, has been previewed in multiple colorways for the final parts of 2024. Following up on the release of the Total Orange rendition, Nike will offer the silhouette in a clean Black Metallic Silver color scheme.
Looking almost like one of the CDG colorways, this primarily black Air Max TL 2.5 comes in OG fashion as we see a mesh base reinforced by leather and TPU overlays. A wavy, segmented TPU overlay runs across the midfoot and features a mixture of black and metallic silver hues, while the dash-line TPU up above also takes on this metallic silver finish. Leather panels are on the mudguard, Swoosh, vamp, eyestays, and heel, blending perfectly with the black mesh base below. Further hits of black are found on the lace set and mesh tongue, the latter hosting grey TPU details. Underfoot, the silhouette has a full-length Air unit surrounded by foam paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 Black Metallic Silver will release on November 22, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $180.
