As we’ve seen in the last year, Nike has been digging into the Air Max archives to revive silhouettes from the Y2K era. First up was the Air Max Sunder, which has already undergone multiple color makeovers and has appeared in collaboration with brands like Kids of Immigrants and CDG. Shortly after the Sunder reappeared in inline colors, The Swoosh began to drop Air Max TL 2.5 colorways, another model from the Oughts. Following up on images of the Black colorway and the release of the Total Orange rendition, images of a Pink rendition found their way online.
A tri-color combo is present on this women's exclusive version of the model, taking on a combo of pink, sail, and light smoke grey. Greyscale hues take over the toecap, transitioning into a silver-grey hue on the TPU cage that reinforces the mesh upper. Below this cage sits pink-shaded mesh, eventually turning into a sail hue as you move up on the sneaker. Further sail shades are found on the lace set, tongue, and sockliner. A grey perforated leather panel sits on the heel, home to Max Air branding and a pink embroidered Swoosh. Finishing the model's design is the TL 2.5's midsole, featuring white foam and a full-length Air unit in pink, paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 Sail Pink W will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store, possibly exclusively in Europe. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
