We may not have the same fervor we once did for Nike Basketball releases, however, returning to OG models and bringing back PE colorways is always something the entire sneaker world can get excited for. This year, LeBron James’ Air Zoom Generation, his first silhouette with Nike, will hit retail shelves in the once-PE “Court Purple” colorway he rocked during the 2018 NBA Finals.
Covered entirely in suede across the upper, a monochromatic shade of court purple takes over all throughout this Air Zoom Generation. Along the tongue, more suede details take over with LeBron’s crown logo sitting front and center below the top portion of the purple laces. Stitching across the upper stays tonal so as to not stray away from the all-purple look while TPU details on the tongue and heel come in a slightly different shade of purple. Along the midfoot, the Swoosh logo also takes on a different variant of court purple with embroidered details trimming the edge. Underfoot sits a purple foam midsole paired with a semi-translucent purple outsole.
The Nike Air Zoom Generation Court Purple will release June 21 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190.
