In the latter half of 2024, LeBron James introduced his first-ever Nike training sneaker, the LeBron TR1, launching the sneaker in a classic Dunkman colorway that recalls the colorway used on multiple Nike LeBron performance basketball models. In another callback, LeBron has applied the Debut colorway from his Air Zoom Generation onto the low-top trainer.
A combination of white, black, and red come together in a similar colorblocking that immediately makes one think of the AZG LeBron wore in his first NBA home game for the Cavs in 2003. The use of metallic silver on the Swoosh differs from that of the original pair, though the shade was used on the eyelets of the OG, as seen here. For its base, the training silhouette comes with a white knit that extends across the entire upper and is contrasted by a black rubber on the lateral side and black neoprene on the medial.

LeBron’s crown logo graces the nylon pull tab atop the tongue, contrasting the white laces and red cables with its black finish. Construction of the internals helps make the sneaker more flexible than other trainers as the Strobel board is removed to allow the foam cushioning to have a more significant impact, and the glove-like bootie utilizes a wider last to allow for feet swelling during training. Finishing the design is the inverted waffle outsole.
The Nike LeBron TR1 Debut will release in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130.
