Over the last few months, LeBron James has shown his devotion to the iconic board game Monopoly through multiple collaborative sneakers. All of these have been on his signature sneaker, the LeBron 22, including pairs like the What The, All-Star, Deep Royal Blue, and the OG currency-inspired rendition. Now, alongside a Monopoly Calm Slide by Bron, the game is taking center stage on The King’s new takedown model, the LeBron NXXT Genisus.
Marking the third iteration in the LeBron NXXT Gen series, the sneaker comes with a purple color palette that may make you think the sneaker is about the original $50 bill in the game. However, the sneaker's medial side displays the number "500" in Monopoly font alongside LeBron's crown logo, which is represented through an orange bill in the game. Color aside, the sneaker comes plastered with an abstract embroidered zig-zag pattern that passes by the iridescent Swoosh on the midfoot and the Monopoly tag added on the tail end of the logo.

More iridescent details are located on the top of the tongue, which features LeBrons signature in purple. Final references to the board game are found on the insole, with the classic red and white Monopoly logo sewn onto the insert. Below sits a purple and glacier ice-shaded foam midsole paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The Monopoly x Nike LeBron NXXT Genisus releases in Summer 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $160.
