The Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 Joins the NY vs. NY Series
PublishedNike's latest iteration of the Air Zoom GT Cut 2 is about to hit the shelves in a vibrant new colorway. This upcoming release pays homage to Nike’s New York-based streetball tournament "NY vs. NY.” This competition has brought the city’s five boroughs and residents together each summer, turning local courts into battlegrounds where the best hoopers go head-to-head. Alongside this pair, we’ve seen the new Nike KD 16 and the Nike Terminator Low join the festivities surrounding this event.
Boasting an engineered mesh upper, the Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 continues this year’s red theme for the NY vs. NY pack. Surrounding the mesh is a semi-transparent TPU that reveals lighter shades of orange. The shoe's neoprene tongue features yellow lace loops, bold red laces, and a "NY vs. NY" logo. A white Swoosh adorns the midfoot, and the red TPU heel counter offers an added touch of contrast. A red and sail midsole and a red and clear outsole round off the sneaker’s design.
The Nike Air Zoom GT Cut 2 NY vs. NY will release July 11 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
