A sneaker model that evokes a particular image, the Nike Cortez (aside from its infamous appearance in Forrest Gump) immediately brings one to the streets of Los Angeles, California. Even if the sneaker doesn’t see a flurry of releases like the Dunk Low may receive, its classic construction and simple color schemes make it easy to wear - especially in the recently revealed “White Black Light Photo Blue.”
Covered in leather across its entire upper, stark white panels with tonal stitching details wrap around and come accented by sail hits on the tongue and lace set. Further contrasting shades make their mark atop the tongue tag with a “bred” combo taking over the Nike branding while the Swoosh and heel tab get a dark black finish. Popping off the aforementioned tab is the classic Nike branding in white, however, moving to the insole you’ll find our first hit of light photo blue via our final hit of Nike branding. Rounding out the design is the white foam midsole with a hit of light photo blue near the heel paired with the iconic grooved rubber outsole.
The Nike Cortez White Black Light Photo Blue is set to release on February 9th, 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $85. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on all upcoming releases, raffles, news, and more.
