With the standard Nike Dunk silhouette receiving a heap of colorways over the last two years, The Swoosh is often looking to tweak the Peter Moore-designed model to bring fresh life to the almost 40-year-old sneaker. One of these is the Disrupt 2 variant, which has already appeared in a "Panda" and a Michigan-inspired colorway. Now the silhouette is coming to us in a pastel-shaded Pink Oxford.
Coming in a combo of tumbled leather and suede, elements of the OG style get reworked into an almost DIY-like sneaker. Shades of grey dress the leather overlays found on the mudguard, slanted eyestays, and heel overlay while the base leather comes in a pastel pink oxford. White laces run through the eyestays up towards the top of the tongue, reaching just below the Nike Dunk branded tag. On the lateral midfoot, two Nike Swooshes are present with one coming embroidered in a pastel yellow while the larger Swoosh gets outlined with earth tone stitching. Back on the heel, a suede overlay gets covered in the same pastel yellow found on the midfoot’s Swoosh while the pull-tab up above takes on a grey shade. Rounding out the look is the partially recycled Dunk midsole and outsole, coming in a white and grey combo respectively.
The Nike Dunk Low Disrupt 2 Pink Oxford W is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in women’s sizing, the retail price is $110.
