Nike has paid homage to various cities, countries, and regions around the globe through its footwear releases. This series has rung true for the City of Angels as Los Angeles, California, has previously received AF1s and Air Max 1s. Now, The Swoosh has prepped a Dunk Low for LA.
Channeling the chill vibes of Los Angeles, the sneaker comes with a gradient cream and blue pattern on its canvas base, transitioning from a cloud-white cream near the top to a sky-blue hue as you move back. The sky theme continues onto the tongue, where we see LA as a cloud. Above the canvas base sit cream suede panels, covering the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. For the Swoosh, a textured finish is applied, with the logo running back to a blue leather heel tab that contains a more cloud-like font in the form of Nike branding. Finishing the design is the semi-translucent rubber midsole and outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low LA is currently loaded to release on October 26, 2024, through ShopNiceKicks and Shiekh online, with a Nike release date currently up in the air.
