Even though the silhouette might not be a regular on the NBA courts today, the Nike Dunk Low's legacy is intertwined with the game. In recent memory, the NBA teamed up with Nike to create memorable renditions inspired by franchises in the league, including "Chicago," "Brooklyn Nets," and "Spurs," as part of the NBA’s 75th Anniversary. Now, as the vibrant city of Paris gears up to welcome an NBA match on January 11, 2024, both giants come together once more, unveiling a special Dunk Low dedicated to the occasion.
Elegantly put together, this Dunk Low boasts an all-leather build, tastefully painted in a tri-tone fusion of neutral olive, white, and black. The neutral olive hue tastefully covers the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, contrasting the pristine white leather sections on the toe, midfoot panel, and collar. The black tumbled leather adorns the Swoosh, adding a touch of contrast, while further applications of neutral olive are found on the heel tab, sockliner, and laces. The dual branding on the lateral heel is noteworthy, encompassing both the NBA and Nike insignias and spelling out "National Basketball Association." Paying tribute to the host city, the insole subtly sports the word "Paris." Completing the design, a white midsole couples with the neutral olive outsole.
The Nike Dunk Low NBA Paris will release Spring 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
