With reptilian features at the focus, this pair sports teal snakeskin paneling across the toebox, midfoot, and heel, with a suede pink swoosh and pink accents on the outsole, tongue, and heel tab. Standard white leather underlays appear throughout the rest of the sneaker, balancing the striking teal and pink coloring. The sneaker is lined with a solid teal mesh, and solid teal laces cover the tongue.
Unsurprisingly, these sneakers have drawn comparisons to the traditional “South Beach” colorway, introduced by LeBron James on the Nike LeBron 8 in 2010. Mimicking the pink and teal of the “South Beach” pairs, these Dunks offer a look equally appropriate for summer heat. This pair in particular offers a unique take on the classic Nike Basketball sneaker, and we can expect the use of snakeskin and distinct colors to help these stand out from other Nike Dunk GR’s this summer.
