While many have been used to the slew of Nike Dunk Low and Nike Dunk High colorways over the last few years, The Swoosh quietly reintroduced the world to the mid-top version of the silhouette in 2023. Forgoing its lockdown strap seen on OG pairs from the mid-2000s, we’ve seen the model appear in a handful of colorways, including a “Panda,” “Plum Eclipse Vivid Orange,” and “Multi-Color.” Now, adding to its series of Dunk Mid releases, Nike dresses the silhouette in a tonal “Amber Brown.”
Like the recent releases of the Nike Dunk Mid, this “Amber Brown” colorway features a mixture of canvas and tumbled leather across its upper. Tonal hits of amber brown land on the tumbled leather mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, while the Swoosh logo takes on a black tumbled leather finish. Underlays, spotted on the toebox, quarter panel, and collar, come to us in brownish-shaded canvas not too far off from the overlays. The lace set matches the overlay’s shade of amber brown, while the tongue below continues the brownish-shaded canvas construction. Back on the heel, we see a leather heel tab hosting Nike embroidery in another shade of brown. Rounding out the design is the phantom-shaded Dunk midsole paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Dunk Mid Amber Brown will be released in Fall 2023 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $115.
