Giannis Antetokounmpo debuted his sixth signature sneaker with Nike, the Nike Giannis Freak 6, earlier in the year. So far, the model has appeared in multiple inline colorways, as well as thematic renditions like the Roses and China. Nike is continuing with these special colorways as the Freak 6 joins the Ja 2 and Kobe 5 X-Ray in celebrating Halloween 2024.
The Nike Giannis Freak 6 Halloween edition features a predominantly orange color palette, making it a standout addition to any sneaker collection. The upper is crafted from engineered mesh with a cracked pattern along the toe and collar, adding a textured and dynamic look. Leather overlays in different shades of orange are found on the vamp and eyestays, extending toward the collar for added durability and style.
A large green Swoosh, outlined in black, adorns the midfoot and partially sinks into the coral-colored sole unit, providing a striking contrast. Custom Giannis logos are prominently displayed on the tongue, with the right pair featuring a FREAK logo and the left pair showcasing a portrait of Giannis flexing his muscles. These personalized touches extend to the insoles, where the right pair displays the FREAK logo, and the left pair features a graphic of an ancient Greek structure. Underfoot, the coral midsole houses Zoom Air cushioning for optimal comfort and performance. The orange rubber outsole is decorated with the names of Giannis' family members near the heel, a signature detail that adds a personal touch to the design.
The Nike Giannis Freak 6 Halloween will release on October 21, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s and GS sizing, the retail price is set at $140 for men and $105 for GS.
