The Nike KD 16 Slim Reaper adopts a deathly aesthetic, featuring a color palette that includes black, red, blue, silver, and white. The use of nubuck overlays adorned with red splatter gives the impression of blood, a nod to Durant's deadly game, while the engineered mesh is accented with a zebra pattern in black and red, adding to the menacing look. Metallic silver elements, such as the cage on the midfoot, provide both style and structural support, ensuring the sneaker performs as well as it looks.
The heel of this KD 16 is particularly noteworthy, featuring a metallic silver tab with the Slim Reaper moniker prominently displayed, solidifying the sneaker's theme. The design is rounded off with a white and blue midsole that complements the overall color scheme and a semi-translucent blue and orange outsole equipped with a unique gear pattern for optimal traction on the court.
The Nike KD 16 Slim Reaper will release on March 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
