While Nike and Jordan Brand have forever been linked to collegiate athletic programs, LeBron James’ line with The Swoosh seems to be forging its own path in this space. Recently signing FAMU to an endorsement deal, James’ latest silhouette with Nike, the LeBron 20, has continued to appear in PE colorways for various schools and Duquesne University in Pittsburgh is the latest.
Deep navy blues take over the majority of the engineered mesh upper while the school's secondary colors of red and white accent throughout. Stark white shades land on the lace set and one of the double Swoosh’s located on the lateral midfoot with the second logo coming in a vibrant red hue. Other branding details remain standard on the front of the model with an “XX” lace dubrae and LeBron’s signature landing on the vamp and tongue respectively, however, the heel replaces James’ crown logo with Duquesne’s “D” logo. Underfoot sits a two-tone white and navy midsole with the latter of the toe hosting a graphic hosting a similar design to the recently seen SVSM “Away” PE. Rounding out the design is the grippy rubber outsole in red.
The Nike LeBron 20 Duquesne Away PE will remain exclusive to LeBron James himself and the Duquesne basketball team. Check below for detailed images of this PE colorway and keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest happenings in the sneaker world.
