March Madness has ended with 2023’s NCAA men’s basketball champions being the UCONN Huskies. Throughout the tournament, UCONN blew through the competition, with the final score of every game being a double-digit difference. Looking at the footwear choices for the players, plenty of Swoosh-laden kicks were laced up, with some rocking LeBron’s latest signature sneaker, the Nike LeBron 20. Following past LeBron sneakers being showcased in UCONN PE colorways, the LeBron 20 is the latest to receive the Huskies treatment.
Like most LeBron 20s, the upper comes constructed out of engineered mesh, with this pair taking on a stealthy black finish. Textured leather appears on the eyestays, which host a set of vibrant red laces. The metallic lace dubrae down below come in a metallic navy. Along the midfoot, the double-Swoosh logos appear in white for the top layer, while the bottom Swoosh is dressed in navy, with red stitching details surrounding its edge. On the heel, Nike forgoes the usual LeBron logo and instead places the UCONN Huskies logo there. Underfoot sits a white foam midsole, with the portion around the toe coming in black, and featuring an intricate graphic. Rounding out the design is the navy rubber outsole below.
