After 20 years in the NBA and with Nike, LeBron James is ready to bring another championship to his Los Angeles Lakers while also debuting his latest signature silhouette, the Nike LeBron 20. At its core, the silhouette was built with the next generation of ball players in mind thanks to its low-cut and lightweight design. After being spotted in colorways like “The Debut” and “Time Machine,” it's time for the kids of today to get their own exclusive colorway, being dubbed “Young Heirs.”
Utilizing the same engineered mesh upper as a standard pair of LeBron 20s, the silhouette gets covered in royal shades of purple, gold, and black. The former of the three shades make up the entire mesh portion of the upper while a lighter hue lands on the leather eyestays, host to a gold “XX” lace dubrae and black flat laces. More black-on-black comes via the sockliner and the tongues mesh and leather with the top featuring LeBron’s signature and another “XX” detail, nodding to the 20th iteration of Nike LeBrons. Double-Swoosh action lands on the lateral profile with a golden leather Swoosh sitting atop the secondary logo which comes with a geometric pattern in purple, black, and gold.
More nods to The King can be found on the heel with James’ crown logo and a stitched tag on the reverse of the tongue getting denoting its design being for the next generation of basketball players. Underfoot, the foam midsole gets a split design with the front half featuring the same geometric pattern as the secondary Swoosh while the rear comes in purple with black splatter paint. For cushioning, a full-length Zoom Strobel unit keeps things bouncy while two Zoom Air bags in the forefoot and heel help with impact protection on the court. Rounding everything out is the gum rubber outsole.
