LeBron James will once again be the oldest active player in the NBA during the 2024-2025 NBA season, and during this latest campaign, James will be sporting his latest Nike LeBron silhouette, the LeBron 22. Though we’ve seen previews of the sneaker thanks to this year’s Olympics, inline colorways are beginning to make their way to the public, as seen here with in-hand imagery of the Moonlight rendition.
White perforated leather covers most of this LeBron 22, including the toe, midfoot, collar, and heel. Lining the edge of the black synthetic panel that forms the Swoosh logo, which makes up the bottom half of the sneaker, is a volt green hue. This same shade extends back to the nylon rope on the heel that is arranged to appear like LeBron James’ signature. On the medial side of the upper sits black synthetic material, with the center containing a yin-yang-like LeBron lion logo, split between red and volt green hues.
More red shades land on the lace set, while the sockliner and tongue are grey. Underfoot sits a volt green and red midsole, with black synthetic material extending down to host an iridescent Swoosh logo. Nike packs the LeBron 22s sole unit with tons of tech, including a top-loaded shank plate, a molded midfoot stability saddle, a top-loaded forefoot Zoom Turbo unit, a Cushlon 2.0 midsole, a bottom-loaded Zoom Air unit in the heel, and a two-part outsole.
The Nike LeBron 22 Moonlight releases on November 1, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
