Nike Basketball may offer some of the more expensive performance models on the market, often in partnership with the most popular athletes in the NBA, however, they do give the general public a cheaper alternative for many of their models. As we saw last year, Nike and LeBron James brought forth the 20th entry in the Nike LeBron series at a steep $200 price point, though the “takedown” version, the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen, comes in at a cheaper price while still offering great performance on the court. Following its collaborative colorway with FaZe Clan, the Nike LeBron NXXT Gen has just appeared in its cleanest makeup yet - “White Metallic Silver.”
Covered in engineered mesh across its upper, the entire silhouette gets doused in a single shade of white with accenting hits of black and metallic silver seen on select details. Tonal white laces match the mesh tongue and co-branded leather patches while the Swoosh branding on the midfoot features large black stitching details. Just below the lateral side’s Swoosh, we see a mini version in metallic silver that matches the “XX” lace dubrae attached to the spine of the heel. Our final hit of black is present on the “NXXT” text found on the insole while the design comes complete with a white foam midsole and rubber outsole.
The Nike LeBron NXXT Gen White Metallic Silver saw a small release through Finish Line and JD Sports on March 19th, 2023 while a wider global release is scheduled for April 1st, 2023. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
