Sabrina Ionescu has finally done it: She’s a WNBA champion. During the clinching game in Brooklyn, New York, she was wearing her latest signature sneaker with Nike, the Sabrina 2. In contrast, Ionescu had given us previews of new colorways during this most recent postseason, like the Stronger Than Gold rendition; this Game 5 win saw Sabrina lace up a pair inspired by her mother, Liliana.
Aptly named Lily, the pair combines white, pinksicle, cement grey, and black. Cement grey details surround the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay, while pink shades cover the lateral Swoosh and cabling system. Though not visible in these photos, a subtle floral pattern is applied in a glossy finish to the eyestays that come with lily flowers, playing off of Sabrina’s mother’s name, Liliana. Moving across the sneaker, white panels land along the toe, tongue, and tongue tag, the latter containing a black S logo. Underfoot sits a white foam midsole containing Cushlon 3.0 cushioning and Zoom Air units.
The Nike Sabrina 2 Lily W will release on January 1, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
