The earth tone trend within fashion, often associated with Ye and Travis Scott, has been established as a mainstream choice for the last few years, especially at Nike. Some of their most popular colorways as of late include both Travis Scott’s and Jordan Brand's version of the Jordan 1 "Mocha," though there are plenty of other silhouettes given this treatment. One division of Nike often associated with bright colors is set to release a teddy bear-themed colorway in solid earth-tone shades in the form of the Nike Dunk Low "Teddy Bear."
Coming dressed in a premium suede across its upper, the silhouette takes on a majority two-tone look throughout. On the toebox and midfoot a furry suede in khaki compliments the deeper shade of tan located on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel overlay. The tongue however gets an almost wood camo look to it, accented by two-tone brown and blue laces. Working back from the midfoot to the Nike branded heel tab is a cream-colored Nike Swoosh, complete with a stitched-on tag halfway down the logo. Where the colorway gets its name is the depiction of a woodland critter on the medial sides heel portion, embossed directly into the suede. Rounding out the look is the sail midsole and gum rubber outsole combo.
The Nike Dunk Low Teddy Bear is slated for release in 2022 through select Nike SB skateshops and a possible Nike release online. Coming in men's sizing, retail is TBA.
