Nike SB and professional skater (also Nike SB team rider) Grant Taylor has a rich history as the skateboarder who has helped inform Nike SB on improvements to his favorite silhouette, the Blazer. For the duo’s latest entry in the SB Zoom Blazer Pro GT series, they’re taking cues from vintage muscle cars and offering a nostalgic yet fresh take on a beloved silhouette.
Coming with a luxurious black leather base, this SB Zoom Blazer Mid GT features striking silver and red accents. The metallic silver Swoosh is outlined in red, capturing attention, while the number "98" stands proudly on the lateral heel. A clear rubber tongue tag carries "GT" branding, referencing Grant Taylor and grand tourer (GT) vehicles, setting the stage for the automotive-inspired Nike SB logo on the insole. To finish off the ensemble, a white vulcanized rubber midsole, and outsole provide contrast and functionality.
The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Pro GT 98 will release October 23, 2023 through Nike and select Nike SB-affiliated retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
