Synonymous with the Georgetown Hoyas who rocked PE editions during the 1984-85 season en route to a NCAA championship appearance, the Nike Terminator is often one of the most slept-on silhouettes of that era. Having been retroed various times over the past 35+ years, the sneaker has come and gone without much fanfare. For Holiday 2022, Nike looks to change that.
During its retro run from 2003-04, numerous Nike Terminator releases came and went. Both high and low-top iterations, including some limited edition player-themed pairs for Dirk Nowitzki, LeBron James, Steve Nash, and Amar’e Stoudamire, dropped. With Nike being the official outfit for the NBA at the time, some “Rewind” colorways came to match throwback uniforms for the Boston Celtics and Seattle Supersonics along with the original “Georgetown” pair serving as the GR kicking the series back off.
Since then we have seen the Nike Terminator drop in both GR and limited edition colorways sporadically. After a decent hiatus, the Terminator High is ready to return in OG-form. Kicking things off will be the coveted “Georgetown” edition, coming in a granite, dark obsidian and sail colorway. This 2022 iteration will be the closest to the OG to-date, with classic blue and grey colorblocking, and bold “Nike” branding on the back heels.
The Nike Terminator High Georgetown is set to release in November 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers worldwide, in-store and online. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is set at $125. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
