2010s mesh runners have continued to be all the rage in footwear and fashion circles, with Nike’s entry in this category, the Zoom Vomero 5, being one of the brand’s most popular silhouettes as of late. We were recently given looks at multiple new renditions this holiday season, including the Royal Pulse, Celestial Gold, and the rugged Vomero 5 Roam in Flax. Now, the silhouette has appeared in a new Vintage Green makeover.
The usual mixture of materials on the Vomero 5 is present with this Vintage Green colorway, as mesh takes over the base layer. Synthetic leather panels hit the mudguard, toe, and midfoot, while the vamp and eyelets come in a suede finish. Most of this comes coated in vintage green, matching the hues of the lace set, midfoot TPU panel, and the TPU heel counter. Accenting shades are found via the black sockliner, the light orewood brown portion of the Nike-branded tongue tag, and the silver Swoosh lined in black along the midfoot. All this rests atop a cream and light orewood brown foam midsole with Zoom Air and Cushlon 2.0 foam paired with a black rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Vintage Green W will release in Holiday 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
