Chicago-based retailer Notre and Vans have partnered to launch another collection of redesigned Vans classics. Starting in 2018, we’ve seen both labels come together every other year, with the latest project spanning the Sk8-Hi Re-Issue and Rowley XLT in hemp-constructed colorways.
All three pairs in the collection feature the defining feature of Notre x Vans projects — a redesigned Vans jazz stripe. The iconic logo is tweaked to appear as if two hands are shaking, embroidered in a contrasting hue on the Sk8-Hi Re-Issue colorways and stamped atop the canvas on the Rowley XLT. For the Sk8-Hi, we also see suede portions along the toebox and tongue; the latter hosting co-branded Notre x Vans logos. Colorwise, the Sk8-Hi’s take on neutral, earthy shades, one pair sporting an Off White color scheme and the other in a Raven (grey) color. A similar neutral palette is present for the Rowley, coming covered in a vintage cream across its hemp panels and navy on select portions. All pairs come finished with a tonal midsole, the Raven colorway specifically getting a pre-distressed look, paired with a tonal outsole.
Notre’s upcoming Vans Hemp Collection will release on November 15, 2024, exclusively through Notre online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $130 for the Sk8-Hi colorways and $160 for the Rowley XLT.
