Leaked in 2021, the Nike Dunk Low “Barbershop Pack” pairs were thought to be samples with no release date planned. Shortly thereafter, detailed images arrived for both the grey and black pairs providing us a detailed look at Nike’s tribute to the humble profession of the barber.
Now we have an official look at these Dunk’s. Both pairs in the pack provide the same nods to barbershops, featuring a clipper guard dubrae in a metallic silver finish on the black pair and metallic gold on the grey pair. Heading to the heel overlay we see a gold pattern chiseled on the grey pair and a darker colored gold on the black. Piped along the heel overlay on both colorways is the iconic red, white and blue pattern associated with barbershop poles.
Each pair is dressed in different materials, with the black coming in a tumbled leather and the grey featuring a premium suede. A vibrant blue is present on the outsole and midsole of both with the same color on the Swoosh for the black pair while a white Swoosh dresses the grey. Speaking on the Swoosh, a circular texture is debossed which wraps into the embroidered Nike branded back heel tab.
The Nike Dunk Low Barber Shop Pack is set to release on June 17th, 2022. It will drop at Nike as well as select retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in men’s and gradeschool sizes. Men's pairs will retail for $110 while GS will come in at $95.
