Luffy began, and to celebrate this massive milestone, the Japanese franchise has teamed up with Vans for the One Piece x Vans Authentic "Yellow."
A must-have for fans of the manga, anime, movies, and video games, this Authentic features an intricately weaved upper that bears a striking resemblance to Luffy's signature straw hat. Crossbone icons of the entire crew can be found printed across the shoe, including Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook. Rope laces tie everything together for a ship-like look, and all of this sits on top of a creamy vulcanized rubber midsole that's highlighted by a single red stripe that runs around the entire outside. This is then finished off with a bright blue co-branded insole which nods to the vast seas and oceans.
Dropping alongside a special edition shoe box, the One Piece x Vans Authentic Yellow is set to release on November 11th, 2022 to coincide with Roronoa Zoro's birthday. A retail price has yet TBA, though you can expect these to launch in men's sizes via Vans and a select few online and in-store stockists within the coming months.
