One of the footwear industry’s most prolific collaborators, Dutch-based fashion label and boutique Patta, has had the pleasure of working with pretty much every major brand in the space from Nike to New Balance and niche labels like Mizuno. While The Swoosh has been their partner of choice in recent memory, Patta is heading to one of their subsidiaries, Converse, for the first time since their 2017 pack that included a Chuck 70 Hi and Low. Now revisiting the silhouette again in 2022, the Patta x Converse Chuck 70 Hi is almost here.
Utilizing the standard canvas build the Chuck 70 Hi is known for, Patta douses the model in all-white with accenting hits of fiery red and diva blue visible along the profile. These colorful additions make up the overlapping arrows that point down on the lateral side while the medial side points up, though extra graphics and text appear next to each. Once again on the lateral side, 3 interlocked “P” logos are present on the right show while the left houses “Right,” “Left,” and “Down.” Even more writing and logos make their mark on the tongue and medial side as they offer inspirational words to the wearer such as “...to walk is to lead - to read is to walk.” Our final hits of visible branding come in the form of the iconic Chuck Taylor 70 All-Star logo, and a split Patta and Converse label on the heel of the sole unit. Rounding out the design is the white midsole paired with a red and blue rubber outsole split between the right and left pair respectively.
The Patta x Converse Chuck 70 Hi is set to release on November 10th, 2022 through Patta, Converse, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100. Keep it locked to our Twitter and the Mobile App. If you're looking for a more in-depth breakdown of Converse and upcoming releases, take a look at our Converse Buyers Guide and our Converse Release Dates Page!
