Patta, a powerhouse in the streetwear scene hailing from Amsterdam, continues to leave its mark on the industry with innovative partnerships. Patta joins forces with Converse for its latest venture, a brand synonymous with timeless style and adaptability. Together, they introduce the Rain or Shine Collection, reimagining classic silhouettes focusing on weather resistance.

This collaborative endeavor breathes new life into two iconic Converse models: the Weapon Ox and the Chuck 70. The Converse Weapon Ox, a silhouette revered for its '80s basketball heritage, is revamped with a durable Cordura mesh upper in a sophisticated black. This choice of material ensures that the sneaker stands up to the elements without sacrificing style. Including Patta's branding on the lateral collar and tongue of the right shoe, alongside the original Converse Weapon branding on the left, adds a distinctive touch to this historic model.

The Chuck 70 undergoes a transformation that echoes the utilitarian theme. It features a Cordura mesh upper in a palette of mineral grey, rosin, and black, balancing durability and aesthetic appeal. The collaboration's detail extends to the insole, where Patta and Converse branding share space with a sun graphic, playfully split between the pair, symbolizing the collection's theme of versatility through varying weather conditions.

The Patta x Converse Rain or Shine Collection will release on April 4, 2024, through Patta, Converse, Nike, SNKRS, and select retailers both online and in-store. The Converse Weapon will retail at $140, while the Chuck 70 will be priced at $130.
