Sneaker collaborations have become a playground for creativity, merging visions of high-profile brands and boutique design houses. Among these, Perks and Mini (P.A.M.), a brainchild of Misha Hollenbach and Shauna Toohey, has emerged as a significant collaborator with Puma, bringing distinctive designs infused with unique inspirations. Their recent work in April centered around the Bioverse theme, and as the calendar flips to October, the duo is back. This time, they unveiled a fresh trio of sneakers under the same Bioverse umbrella.
This new collaborative drop touches on three distinct Puma models: the Suede Vintage, the Cell Dome King, and the show-stopping Plexus. While the construction stays loyal to each model's DNA, Perks and Mini infuse the trio with their signature touch. Each silhouette boasts its standard material base – supple suede for the Puma Suede, robust leather for the Dome King, and another layer of suede adorning the Plexus. Co-branded logos, signifying the collaboration, are subtly placed across these sneakers. Moreover, there's a nod to sustainability by introducing environmentally-friendly materials. The Puma Plexus model captures attention with its floral suede patches scattered over its upper and jagged design cues highlighting the mudguard and heel overlays. The collection's unifying element, a specially crafted box co-branded by Puma and Perks and Mini, encapsulates each pair.
The Perks and Mini x Puma Bioverse Pack will release October 7, 2023, through Puma, Perks and Mini, and select retailers online and in-store. The Puma Suede Vintage is priced at $120, while the Puma Plexus and Cell Dome King will retail for $150 each.
