Gone are the days of NMD and Ultraboost hype hoarding your social media feed and the feet of the most in-style individuals, though adidas and Pharrell still have continued to release the once-coveted NMD Hu in a variety of colorways. With its last release coming months ago through a Billionaire Boys Club collaboration, the Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu appears in its classic form with an “Animal Print” colorway.
Utilizing a Primeknit upper, the silhouette gets covered in a cheetah orange with various animal print details embroidered in black and flesh tones. Laces weaving through the Pharrell-designed semi-translucent grey side cage depart from the overall orange look, taking on a two-tone neon green 3M reflective silver with red aglets adorning its end, though one can switch to a matching orange set included in the packaging. The collar comes in a deep red, contrasting silver 3M heel tab with Pharrell and adidas branding split between the left and right pair respectively. As with all Hu sneakers, the orange insole displays a custom graphic depicting one's foot with drawings of organs placed throughout. Underfoot, an orange exposed Boost midsole comes with two grey rubber plugs around the midfoot while the black NMD outsole finishes off the look.
The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu Animal Print is set to drop on June 25th, 2022 through adidas Confirmed and select Three Stripes retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $220. To stay up to date on the latest from the Three Stripes and more, keep it locked to our Twitter and the Sole Retriever mobile app.
