Puma, alongside many in the footwear industry, has begun digging through the archives of the Y2K era to revive models that have fallen to the wayside. As a result, the German sportswear label reintroduced the Puma Inhale through multiple A$AP Rocky collabs, from the OG colorway to the two different distressed options. Inline colorways are now being prepared, with one of the first to hit the market being a Spider-Man-esque colorway.
On the base, this once-performance runner has a black mesh that coats most of the upper. Leather panels in black and silver take over the mudguard and heel panel, while the wavy contoured lines constructed from TPU on the midfoot feature gradient red and blue colors. This same gradient, reminiscent of Spider-Man’s color scheme, applies to the Formstrip on the midfoot and the top-most eyelet panel. As for the Puma cat logo, we see the design take on a black finish on the heel and tongue tag, both outlined in a red shade. Finishing the look is the black foam midsole with a clear blue rubber outsole with a red and blue gradient and black traction pods throughout.
The Puma Inhale Spider-Man will release on November 14, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
