Puma Preps for Pride Month With the Puma Suede

Pride Month is just weeks away, and all the major footwear brands have now established a yearly cycle of sneakers celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community. Puma 3will kick things off with the Suede WAE, bringing a subtle-yet-vibrant take on the classic silhouette.
WAE stands for "We Are Everything," and Puma wants to bring self-expression with this black, white, and multi-color rendition of the Suede. While most of the upper comes in a black suede finish, we see portions sectioned off by the white leather Formstrip on the midfoot featuring colorful graphics above. This section is placed on the bottom of the heel on the medial side and houses Puma logos, hearts, and other designs in a multi-color array. Moving to the heel, we see a wheel of rainbow arms appear on the suede tab, while the collar portion of the lateral side contains more colorful graphics. Below, the phrase “We Are Everywhere” gets debossed into black suede. Finally, the Puma logo on the insole receives a rainbow treatment, while the sole unit comes in a clean white finish.
