Originally released in 1978, Vlado Stenzel’s signature sneaker with Puma could be mistaken for the iconic Puma Suede thanks to its similar shape and design, though “The Magician” does change up a few things here and there. Although it doesn’t get a wide array of releases, the latest colorway to emerge comes in a Halloween-ready “Vibrant Orange.”
Dressed entirely in suede across its upper, an all-over vibrant orange shade takes over with accenting hits seen throughout. On the toe, a T-shaped toebox sits between perforated suede panels while also coming connected to the vamp and eyestays that borrow this same material and shade. Tonal orange laces run up towards the green, black, and white Puma branded tongue tag with Puma text and Vlado Stenzel’s signature in gold featured near the topmost eyestay. Breaking up the almost completely monochromatic upper is a black Puma Formstrip that wraps back to an orange suede heel tab. The upper gets finished off by a black leather sockliner and orange insole while the entire sneaker comes complete with a gum rubber midsole and outsole.
The Puma Vlado Stenzel Vibrant Orange is slated to release on September 29th, 2022 through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $100.
