When Dee Brown pumped up his pair of Reebok Omni Zone II at the 1991 Dunk Contest, the world took notice. Helping keep Pump products relevant to this day, Reebok is pulling a colorway inspired by the pair Brown wore during the Dunk Contest, adding Celtics green accents.
The leather and mesh construction dons a black-based color palette with hints of white and accenting green throughout. The black-on-black look makes up the toebox, mudguard, and majority of the tongue with the aforementioned green making its way to the top. The pump appears in the center of the tongue, coming dressed up as a basketball. More on-court references make their way to the insole with a graphic print of an actual court. Along the midfoot, A white overlay zig-zags overtop the black leather and green mesh underneath, placed just near the Reebok branding along the heel. Rounding out the look is the tri-tones midsole and outsole combo coming in white, black, and green.
The Reebok Pump Omni Zone II Celtics is scheduled to release on April 15th, 2022 through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
