In an exciting turn of events within the sneaker and fashion world, Vans' new OTW label and the avant-garde art studio S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA., founded by the renowned artist Sterling Ruby, has joined forces to unveil a groundbreaking collaboration: The Clash The Wall Collection. This partnership marks a significant milestone for Vans OTW, previously known as Vault by Vans, as it embarks on a new journey under its rebranded identity, emphasizing its foundational Off The Wall ethos.

Sterling Ruby's S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. brings a unique perspective to the Vans OTW Clash The Wall Collection, reimagining four iconic Vans silhouettes — the Old Skool 36, Authentic 44, Mid Skool 37, and Sk8-Hi 38 — into the “Clash The Wall” sneaker. Mismatched panels from each iconic shoe are pieced together to form a new, cohesive silhouette. This approach pays homage to the individuality and creativity at the core of both brands and pushes the boundaries of conventional sneaker design.

The collection's distinctiveness is further highlighted by Sterling Ruby's branding, which adorns the sidewall of the sole unit, tongue tag, and insole, alongside the unmistakable OTW branding on the heel patch. Available in two vibrant colorways, Green Gecko and Orange, each pair in the Clash The Wall Collection is presented in a bold, monochromatic scheme, accented with contrasting black and white branding elements.

The S.R. STUDIO. LA. CA. x Vans OTW Clash The Wall Collection will release on February 29, 2024, through Vans OTW's website and select retailers online and in-store.
