Since its return earlier this year, the Puma Mostro has gained a cult following among fashion circles. The German sportswear brand has answered this hype with various colorways and even collaborated with the Korean-based label San San Gear. Continuing with the Ecstasy Pack, which featured two vibrant colorways in March 2024, Puma is giving us two more colorful options: Electric Lime and Lavender.
As disruptive as it was when the model first launched in 1999, these two colorways of the Mostro feature the same construction and tonal finish for each color. A mesh base is present on the surf-inspired silhouette, with leather reinforcements found on the formstrip on the midfoot, the heel tab, and along the edge of the tongue. The model forgoes any lacing setup and offers lockdown via the elastic straps. Puma places its logo along the woven label on the tongue tag and via its cat logo on the heel tab. Down below, the spiked sole unit, inspired by sprinting spiked shoes from the ‘60s, wraps around the sidewall and has a tonal finish that matches the upper.
The second Puma Mostro Ecstasy Pack will release on November 23, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
