Best Sneakers Releasing This Week

Entering the latter half of April, things are cooling down in the footwear space, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some high-heat releases to look forward to.
Starting out this week is a Snipes-exclusive colorway of the New Balance 1000, taking on a clean black, grey, silver, and red color palette. Next up, Devin Booker and Nike team up with Chevrolet to release three sneakers, two Blazer Lows and a Book 1, all themed after Booker’s vintage Chevy Blazers. Jacquemus will re-enter the collaborative footwear space, albeit without Nike, as the French label is launching a co-branded Timberland 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe.
Continuing with Wednesday releases, Crocs is teaming up with Marimekko, the Finnish design house, on a four-pack of designs that all feature the brand’s famous floral print. Thursday quickly follows up with a new Jordan Luka .77 colorway, launching in Jordan Brand’s favorite white, black, and red combo, they’re calling Bloodline. NIGO will also participate in this week’s release calendar, launching his two neutral colors of the Air Force 3.
Brain Dead and adidas reprise their partnership on Friday, debuting the LA-based streetwear label’s take on the classic adidas tennis sneaker, the adidas Forest Hills. Nike is also dropping some heat at the end of the work week, including the Diamond Turf-inspired Nike LeBron 21 Prime 96 and the Nike KD 18 EYBL.
Finally, Saturday will play host to what is arguably the most exciting release of the week — the Air Jordan 11 Retro Low Bred. The low-top version of the AJ 11 Bred has previously released, though this version is identical to the PE colorway MJ wore that, until now, has remained unreleased. Also on Saturday is West NYC’s celebration of Tip Top Shoes’ 85th birthday, which includes two adidas shoes, the Handball Spezial and SL 72.
