After a few leaks throughout the year, Nike Sportswear has made their collaboration with the China-based streetwear brand official. While we have seen two colorways before, a third pair has been unveiled.
Made to celebrate Chinese youth as well as redefine sports culture for the next generation, the SOULGOODS x Nike Dunk High Collection features three pairs inspired by music, basketball, and art from different generations, specifically the 80s, 90s, and 00s. Each pair features special materials, colors, and graphics to tie into each respective era. The "80s" edition comes in a clean grey and black colorway. Featuring a grey-based upper with black accents, inspired by classic basketball films and local street ball. The "90s" edition sporting a muted upper in military green is highlighted by black detailing. This pair represents rock and hip-hop enthusiasts of the club scene. Rounding out the collection is the "00s" edition, which is a nod to longtime sneaker collectors and artists who witnessed the previous decades.
The SOULGOODS x Nike Dunk High Collection is set to release throughout November and December 2022. It will drop at SOULGOODS as well as select Nike in throughout Greater China, in-store and online. A wider drop has yet to be confirmed. Coming in men’s sizing, retail is TBA.
