Already making an impact in China, SOULGOODS has already had the opportunity to work with The Swoosh, though indirectly, through Converse back in 2021. Unlike this last collab, their take on the Nike Dunk High refrains from their go-to tiger print in favor of earth tone greens.
The various overlays and underlays, sans the black eyestays, get covered in military green suede with more accenting black shades coming courtesy of the tongue and laces. Atop the tongue is a SOULGOODS and Nike branded tongue tag featuring the Beijing brands logo alongside the Nike Swoosh. The sockliner continues the military green shade, though SOULGOODS adds its brand's motto “FROM BEIJING TO THE WORLD” via embroidery on top of the mesh material. Along the midfoot, the Nike Swoosh gets lined with a silver 3M reflective material, running back to a suede pull-tab on the heel. Back along the lateral heel overlay, the same SOULGOODS tiger logo found on the tongue tag makes an appearance. Rounding out the look is the black-on-black midsole and outsole.
The SOULGOODS x Nike Dunk High '90s is slated to release in November 2022 through SOULGOODS, Nike, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, retail is set at $155.
