Puma collaborates with Squishmallows to introduce a whimsically vibrant collection set to captivate both sneakerheads and collectors of the beloved plush toys in a playful merger of plush comfort and streetwise style. Squishmallows, known for their ultra-soft, marshmallow-like texture, and adorable characters, have taken the world by storm, becoming a staple in homes for cuddles and comfort. This partnership marks a new chapter for Puma, expanding its collaborative portfolio in 2024 that includes work with One Piece, NBA 2K, PlayStation, and a Marvel Spider-Man collab.
The collection features three iconic Puma silhouettes - the Cali, RS-X, and Suede XL - each reimagined to embody the distinctive traits of Squishmallows characters Lola, Cam, and Winston. The Puma Cali receives a makeover inspired by Lola's colors, the RS-X mirrors Cam's vibrant hues, and the Suede XL channels Winston's charm, with each model featuring character-specific branding and an exclusive hang tag. Additional details include multi-colored accents that nod to Squishmallow's rainbow of characters and their logo prominently displayed, infusing each step with a touch of whimsy.
The Squishmallows x Puma Collection will release on March 15, 2024, through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Available in kids' sizing, the retail price ranges between $85 and $65.
